Hi all!

In this newsletter I’m going to introduce you to some new paintings and let you know where to see my work in person in the next few months. Exciting news!

Where to see my work

“Shared” at the open door gallery in the Worcester art museum. Info in the photo! I’ll have 3 pieces included, “Cinched”, “lipstick on a pig” and “engulfed”. I’ll be speaking at the opening!

“Internalized” which will include “silly string”, “you are my” and “I am the same girl I was”.

And finally the one piece pictured (+ one more) will be in the NH Art Association’s fledgling show! I’ll be at the opening. More info about that here.

New pieces

I just finished this piece and it is one of my new favorites. “I love you, little fat girl.” explores my relationship with the girl in the photo. The elementary school girl who was realizing that her body was viewed as bad, the girl who started trying to change it. The yellow frame is inspired by the print of my childhood blanket. In this painting, I’m cradling little me, and surrounding her in comfort.
